Spawn.

So as this is a themed Server, I want a themed Spawn. and to build it We will need lots of Idea's and Builders.

So I Want people to let me know if they would be interested in this and I will add them to the List.

Please note The Server Will Be Locked During the Process of Spawn building and the 10-15 People I pick will be the only ones aloud on and will have there own individual projects.

Whats better, Wood or Stone and why? Mixture of both, Stone for structural support and wood for style.

How Long have you been on the Server? To be honest, not that long I admit (not s strong point obviously) but I believe this server has much potential.

What are you Idea's for spawn? I believe the spawn point should be within a large tower-like structure - the reasoning for this would be accommodating room for players to come in but not seem crowded.

What part of Spawn would you Like to Constuct? Either the spawn building or the walls of spawn town

What is the best thing you have built in MC and Why? Towers seem to be my strong point. Most of the time I tend to make them go straight to the heavens. I've also made a small castle before (not the best looking castle though) purely out of cobblestone on my single-player map.

Are you willing to do what you are told? even if that means starting your building from scratch? Do I have much choice on this? :p I'll work however I am required by my superiors.

Whats better, Wood or Stone and why? In my opinion, this clearly depends. I will elaborate below

Wood - With bonemeal in play, it is highly possible to get wood very fast depending on one's bonemeal and sappling supply. The drawbacks to this though in my opinion that since trees grow outside, one is always under threat at night. Creepers also seem to be a bit of a factor too.

All in all though, in terms of appearance, wood is actually very nice compared to cobblestone. I would normally hesitate using it because of the threat of fire. However, after reading the rules here, I see that it will not be a major problem (As I too am NOT a fan of sudden destruction by fire)

Stone - I personally can get a lot of this and lose track of my progress really easy. Why is this? Well, I usually dig a lot and in turn can get much cobblestone this way. Finding coal is a plus too in the event smoothstone needs to be made. The only problem I can note when gathering stone is underground monsters. However, this usually can be avoided just so long as I don't dig too deep underground and have plenty of torches.

All in all, in regards to my personal experiences when playing Minecraft, I tend to find stone easier to work with as I tend to be able to gather it more efficiently than wood since lighting can minimize monster spawns some (mob spawners excluded) and gathering stone for me works nice through both night (after having made a cave entrance and gathered torches) and day. The only drawbacks I see with stone is that smoothstone takes a lot of time to make (unless plenty of coal/furnaces/cobblestone is handy) and that some don't favor the appearance of cobblestone (basic, non-texture enhanced cobblestone to be specific)

How Long have you been on the Server: when the four wars started

What are you Idea's for spawn: we need a rule bord some shops ,smelters ,trade rooms(god that was a pain hay al)and others.

What part of Spawn would you Like to Constuct:the bank i have many bees buzzing in my brain im thinking gold for the inside cuz gold=money that will be for the floor and walls the roof the out side will be made of stone slabs.the counter will be made of unrefined wood glass and chests and fences so people will not take stuff thats being put in the chest.there will be a water ladder from vult to the bank. Now the vult will not be to big at 1st but more members will mean more room.and the bank will need protection so al i will leave that up to you

What is the best thing you have built in MC and Why: my admin vult( big room with lots of chests) i made it in the last sever i was in be for it...well that im not sure about. i was an admin :P we had god command :"(

Whats better, Wood or Stone and why: stone is better for stoping creepers but its not pretty so... maybe we should use stone slabs.

How Long have you been on the Server? About a good month now.
What are you Idea's for spawn? Well it is your base idea, still need to figure out what you want. Fortified castle seems right with what you were planning on the last map.
What part of Spawn would you Like to Constuct? Shops, pre built shops for people to buy and sell goods in, unless that messes with Iconomy.
What is the best thing you have built in MC and Why? I made a grand castle at the top of this amazing mountain once, too bad power went out and I lost it. But I've moved on. Working now on a modern house and a brutalist styled house.
Are you willing to do what you are told? even if that means starting your building from scratch? Aye, I'm here to work with, and include my ideas, fusing.
Whats better, Wood or Stone and why? It comes down to location, what's in the surroundings, what is the flow of the area.

What are you Idea's for spawn?: Elvish construction since it's in the woods it reminds me of the wood elves in the hobbit.
What part of Spawn would you Like to Construct?: Doesn't matter. Put me anywhere boss!
What is the best thing you have built in MC and Why?: Oh I did favor my first castle in single-player. It was actually made of lava :D
Are you willing to do what you are told? even if that means starting your building from scratch?: Yep, remember I was one of the main advocates in resetting the map, so I like to start over.
