Voice Comm's

Would you like to see a Voice Communications server join our community?

I am currently looking into achieving this, but obviously don't want to waste my time if no one is going to use it. Ofcourse it would be used as an alternative to skype as I know a lot of people use skype to talk to each other at the moment. It would contain different channels for each town (password protected) as well as many social channels for random talking.

So just let me know what you think of the Idea and vote on the Poll

I chose Ventrilo due to personal preference. Pretty e easy to use, but if you plan to host it yourself for free only 8 people can use it.

Where as TS3 is like what? 32 I think?

And Mumble... so old yet still useful.. But I still prefer Vent best :)

I wouldn't be hosting them myself. I can get great deals from my minecraft server host. which is where I would be looking to rent from.

So the capacity would increase with the server/donations much like the minecraft server will

well i prefer TS since you can go into more depth with it and to me its alot easier to use and has more functions then the old Vent.

it would be awesome if it would work as Left 4 Dead . (or other orange box games) . Its like u just press c and you can talk

Can't have that Cookie, due to that being a main program coding Issue so you would have to go bug Notch for VOIP in minecraft, which I am 99% sure will never happen.

And the reason you voted for I like to type is because you are cheap and won't buy a mic.
